About Venta Belgarum Associates:

You will be welcomed into our Tax and Business Advisory practice based in Mt Pleasant.  We are a small, (currently) all female team with a fabulously friendly and open culture.  Due to our great service and ability to get results for our clients, we are experiencing another period of growth and need another pair of hands to help with our workload!

The Role:

This position will require the experience of a Tax and Business Manager (or higher) to perform an active, hands-role within the business. You will be meeting with clients, completing work, managing workflow, reviewing work of junior staff, actively attracting and winning new work, providing SMSF expertise within the practice and be a mentor for our junior staff.

Hours on Offer:

This role will be offered as 3 days per week with Thursday being compulsory. We are flexible with the other 2 days to work around you!!

Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Practice Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Self-Managed Superannuation Fund annual compliance completion
  • Tax Compliance completion
  • Reviewing work of junior staff
  • Mentoring junior staff
  • Attracting and winning new clients to help grow the business
  • Meeting with clients
  • Managing workflow &
  • Contribute to internal training and staff development.

To be considered for this great role, you will have:

  • A Chartered Accountant/CPA qualification
  • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience within a Public Practice Firm
  • Self-Managed Super Fund experience
  • Experience and genuine interest in reviewing work of and mentoring junior staff
  • The ability to attract and win new clients &
  • An already established client base that your keen to continue working on.
